Always amazing just how badly facts get destroyed when something like climate change becomes a mantra among us. Of course, politicians just use it to justify their agenda and retain power. But so many have swallow hook, line and sinker all the talking points.
Just one example.
“Burning dry firewood in a modern stove produces just 0.008kg of CO2 per kWh of heat generated. Burning natural gas produces about 25 times more CO2 (0.198kg) per kWh. And electrical heating (depending on how it is produced) can give off upwards of a staggering 0.517kg worth of CO2 per kWh of heat generated.”
Yet we being driven like sheep towards all electric heating.

A massive budget deficit might just be the best thing that could happen to our state. Should previous support for police defunding be disqualifying? Ninth Circuit says King County can’t interfere with federal deportations. Trump says maybe Canada should become our 51st state, eh?

Earlier this year, unDivided subscribers selected the Washington State Patrol Memorial Foundation as our charity for 2025. The foundation offers support for families of fallen troopers. Kami Gunderson, whose husband died in the line of duty in 2021, joins us to talk about how important that support has been for her kids.

I struggled with what to talk to you about tonight.
Well, that’s not true. I didn't struggle with what to talk to you about – I struggled with whether I was brave enough to say what I wanted to say.
When I'm invited to speak to groups, I don't want to offend anyone or be too controversial. So, I reached out to a few of your fellow party members to ask whether any topics were off limits or wouldn't go over well with the crowd.
I got some good advice.
Then I decided to ignore that good advice entirely.
Too much is at stake to be polite.
As we sit here tonight, we are in the final battle of a war.
A war that has pit sanity against insanity.
Pragmatism against idealism.
A war that has sacrificed the public good, in favor of a twisted idea of progress.
It's a war that began long before I moved here 15 years ago. It started silently and it was mostly waged in the shadows.
Most of us didn't even realize that a war was being fought. We were too caught up in our own lives and our own problems. ...
